Chapter 7 - First-Order Circuits

Homework Assignments:

Assignment #7                     Due Monday, October 23

Read Chapter 7 First-Order Circuits. This chapter covers material dealing with combining a resistor and an energy storage element.  We will see how to solve for voltage, current and power of a circuit that has one energy storage element such as a capacitor or inductor. We will learn how to perform transient analysis and find the voltages and currents as the network topology changes.

Prepare answers for these problems from the textbook. Be prepared to discuss your solutions in classroom discussion and hand-in your written solutions on the date specified above. Study the examples and their solutions in the assigned sections.

Chapter 7 Problems 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 22, 23, 25, 28, 39 and 40
