Chapter 6 Capacitance and Inductance

Assignment #6                     Due Wednesday, October 18

Read Chapter 6 Capacitance and Inductance. The properties of the two energy storage circuit elements are critical to the remaining material. The voltage, current, power and energy relationships of capacitors and inductors, and their series and parallel equivalents must be understood. Mutual inductance and its application to ideal transformers are also covered.

Prepare answers for these problems from the textbook. Be prepared to discuss your solutions in classroom discussion and hand in your written solutions on the date specified above. Study the examples and their solutions in the assigned sections.

 Chapter 6 Problems 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 34, 45 and 52
